How to deposit crypto to an exchange

Step by step
Type the official domain and read the page
A domain is only checked against the platform's own page: one extra hyphen, one missing letter or a different suffix is a lookalike, however good the page looks.
Copy the address and the tag from the official page
Never use an address from a chat. Some chains need a memo or tag as well, and a missing tag turns a routine deposit into manual handling.
Check the recipient name and the payment purpose
If the recipient name does not match the platform's own name, stop. Fill the purpose the way the platform asks, or the bank may return the payment.
Run the smallest amount first
Complete the whole flow once with the smallest amount that works, confirm it can be credited, sold and withdrawn, and only then decide about a larger one.
